Mashal e Raah by Umar Jadoon – Urdu Novel

Mashal e Raah by Umar Jadoon is an Urdu novel that blends romance, thriller elements, and psychological insight. The story is available on Novel Daira and is presented in a 138‑page ordered image reader.

Overview

The narrative centers on Qais, a young man who struggles with intense inner conflict. He faces harsh criticism within his own home, bitter treatment from his older brother Manan, and mistrust sown by his mother, Almas Begum. These pressures drive Qais into severe psychological distress and fear.

In an effort to prove his worth, Qais invests all his resources in mountain excavation and mining work. The venture fails, plunging him into a deep sense of hopelessness. It is at this low point that he begins regular sessions with Dr. Waqas. The doctor’s guidance goes beyond conventional therapy, introducing Qais to a broader spiritual framework based on faith, self‑acceptance, and patience. This guidance opens a new spiritual path for Qais.

Parallel to Qais’s story is the character Faris, who appears balanced yet stern. Faris carries his own traumatic past and initially seeks isolation from the world. When friends Bahram and Haider travel to Karachi to rescue their love, Qandil, from a dangerous situation involving a man named Zafar, Faris assists them. The Karachi episode highlights Haider’s genuine devotion and Faris’s protective role. During this journey, Faris meets a bold young woman named Hareem, whose presence rekindles a sense of vitality in him.
